I don't wannae worry or scare you but I've read some risks of getting your Steam account stolen. Not also for FA but to all multiplayer games as well. A few of my friend were inactive for no more than 4 months until I realised their Steam account has been lost. For a moment I asked "Did you get VAC banned or something?" And they say "Look at my old profile, of course I didn't hack - I thought we were buddies" etc. The old Steam profile didn't have 'VAC status:ban(s) on record' so I was guilty of accusing my friends being the victim of Account fraud.
Soooo... I decided to gather evidence from Steambans forums, NuclearFallOut, UK2.net, Halflife2.net and so. AND... I've found this interesting topic:

From my experience is this:
>> Don't leave your PC nor your Steam account on 24/7 even though you are not using and leaving it on until overnight. (It's not economical!)
>> Get the best Antivirus, spyware and firewall you can find and recommend for your PC
>> For Win98, Win2000 users, check your net security twice since the older operating systems are in more risks than WinXP and WinVista
>> And most importantly, update and check your net security daily. There is a 'auto update by Startup' somewhere in the internet security preference for AVG, Norton and so.
DON'T RISK YOUR PC AND STEAM ACCOUNT!!
Also if you DID get your account hijacked, don't panic. You can still recover it by reclaiming the receipts from digital buying the games on Steam or using the CD-Serial numbers. Blue Church2 and a couple of my friends had their account stolen but I've rescued it with my idea on how to get it.
