L4D2 load bug UI 2010

I've tried playing Ave's L4D2 but the Engine error came when i typed "connect 75.102.38.119"

Place a l4d2 short cut on the desk top and in properties add the following line " +connect 75.102.38.119" just remember a space just before the + sign.

[Ave]

1. Start left 4 dead 2 game
2. Enable console, options - enable developer - prob something you did like I did 1st day
3. type in console
connect 75.102.38.119



This works as trying to connect to a fa server. The only things I can say about your error is I hope your like me and it is something very simple like you pointed l4d1 not l4d2. In that case it would connect and try 10 times then fail. I have reinstalled l4d1 and l4d2 recently. With all the updates that have been written over the files seem like the best thing to do.

4. Delete local content
5. Download and reinstall game from Steam Menu.
